Benefits Specialist (Health & Welfare)

ROLE/RESPONSIBILITIES

' Handle various responsibilities related to benefits operations including review of daily HR edits, research LOA payroll issues, assist team with benefits issue resolution, invoice processing, HSA and FSA reconciliation.

' Provide customer service to internal and external customers.

' Assist with other benefits operations responsibilities as needed (e.g., testing, projects, data clean up, process documentation).

' Analyze Health and Welfare QA reports from SAP and update/make corrections in SAP and/or external vendors.

' Research and resolve case management cases from HR Service Center.

' Assist in preparation of Eligibility appeals.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

' High School Diploma required

' 2-5 years of experience working with benefits plan administration, service escalations, data quality

' Proficiency with MS Office

' Prior experience with payroll and benefit administrator systems

' Strong analytical and mathematical skills

' Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment

' Ability to work independently and interact collaboratively as part of a team

' Strong self-starter, fast learner, quality conscious with attention to detail, committed to deadlines.

' Experience using HR Management tools (SAP and Clarify) as well as proficient in Excel.

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

' BA or BS Degree

' CEBS, SHRM, PHR Certification (strongly preferred)

' Experience with SAP payroll and/or Alight / Aon Hewitt TBA system
